SchoolCoding began supplying our Digital Skills Curriculum in 2020, just before schools closed for most of the academic year, however our relationship has survived intact, thanks in part to our School Care and Support service that we extended to all schools during the stressful and confusing season that we all endured due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020. This included helping LBPS to implement Microsoft 365 for Education, incl. Microsoft Teams.
Our Lesson Plans for Grade 4-7 were completely updated for 2021, so school IT teachers now have a completely refreshed set of lesson plans with a unique lesson for every class from Grade 4-7, each of which includes a brief video tutorial to watch before teaching the lesson to their class.
Used in combination with our Shuters Top Class Digital Skills (Intro. to Coding and Robotics), this provides – for the first time – a comprehensive R-7 Coding and Robotics Curriculum, based upon the draft DBE drafts, authored by Mauritz, a public school teacher, which we are compiling into a Blended Learning solution that students can access directly in class.
